Codex VS Code Extension

The Codex VS Code Extension integrates directly into VS Code, allowing developers to use Codex without leaving their development environment.

Setup

1. Install the Codex extension from the Visual Studio Code Marketplace.

2. For ease of use, it is recommended to move Codex to the right sidebar.

   In VS Code, you can drag the Codex icon to the right of your editor to move it to the right sidebar.

3. After installing the extension, you will be prompted to sign in with your ChatGPT account or API key.

4. Update the extension.

   The extension updates automatically, but you can also open your Extensions in VS Code to check for updates.
